Well, it's only been 2.5 years since my last post. Not too bad, all things considered. Life has changed a lot. I'm married, my career has grown, and I'm expecting a daughter in August. Health wise, the last few months haven't been so great. I stopped working out, changed my diet back to my old ways, and in general we're basically starting over. I want to be healthy for my family, and have a few months to get me there. So here goes....
Yesterday I started P90X3. This feels a lot like the original P90X, but much more condensed. There's no downtime, which makes every workout into 30 minutes. This is perfect for my schedule.
Yesterday's workout was Total Synergistics, which you may remember from the ever-popular P90X incarnation. Today was Agility X, which felt much more like an easy-Insanity workout. Easy's a relative term, but that's how it felt.
Overall, both workouts were much more challenging than I remember. But it's going to take me a while to get back into the swing of things (yes, the health has gotten so bad that a 30-minute workout is a challenge).
Expect future posts to have more inspiring things - today was just meant to get me started. Time for work. See you tomorrow, for the return of Yoga!
